Liver Life Walk Los Angeles 2016

On November 6th, 2016, Wako Diagnostics sponsored and participated in the Los Angeles Liver Life Walk held by the American Liver Foundation (ALF). Wako employees, family, and friends joined hundreds of other participants to walk along Ocean View Park in Santa Monica in support of the many affected by liver disease.

Liver Life Walk San Francisco 2016

On September 18th, 2016, Team Wako Dx: Earlier is Better once again participated in the Liver Life Walk in San Francisco. Funds raised were given to the American Liver Foundation, which is dedicated to facilitate, advocate and promote education, support and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease.

We crossed the finish line with lively spirits while proudly displaying “Wako” in Japanese calligraphy.

In 2013, Wako sponsored the Liver Life Walk event from the American Liver Foundation (ALF) Los Angeles, CA chapter.

In San Francisco, CA, Wako employees helped raise liver disease awareness by raising funds and participating in the Northern California Liver Life Walk event on September 22, 2013

World Gastroenterology Organisation (WGO)

In 2013, World Digestive Health Day, a campaign organized by the World Gastroenterology Organisation was dedicated to raising Liver Cancer awareness. Wako proudly supported this annual campaign and the WGO organization in an effort to increase prevention and early detection of liver cancer.
